S​​chool of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering is following NUST vision for achieving a distinguished position in the reputed world class institutions. The entire School team is looking forward to take this School to the apex of Technology and Innovation by working with renowned professionals from the universities and industry nationally and internationally. The school faculty and students interact to create, develop and implement new ideas and engineering concepts which is the essence of OBE (Outcome Based Education) System. Particularly the students have the opportunity to discover and explore new dimensions of present era Technology as they work side by side with faculty involved in the cutting-edge research and innovation.​

Since Fall 2009, School has been recognised as a prominent academic institution and a leading solution provider to the industry. In collaboration with Local and Foreign Industries, it has undertaken many Power related and Design-based projects from the industry. To our pride, some of the projects have already been delivered and are in use with the industry.

The School is establishing as the Centre of Excellence in teaching, research and solving industry problems. For this, it is pursuing diverse programmes of studies and Sciences besides Mechanical, Design and Manufacturing. Following high standards in academics with highly qualified faculty and state-of-the-art research and manufacturing facilities, the School depicts a modern industrial and academic environment to the students and faculty.​​
