Ph.D. in Mobile Robotics from University of Toronto
Dr Kunwar Faraz Ahmed Khan, received his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from NUST College of E & ME, and M.A.Sc./Ph.D. degrees from the University of Toronto (Canada). He is currently serving as a professor in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at NUST College of E & ME. His research interests include mobile robotics, guidance theory, robot navigation in realistic terrains, AI and machine learning, wherein his work has been published in various leading Robotic Conferences and Journals. In addition to his academic activities he has worked as a General Manager Production in Heavy industries Taxila. Furthermore, he has served as a PI on various national level projects, which include the Establishment of a National Ballistic Testing Lab and the Design Improvement of a High-Torque, Low-Speed, Diesel Engine. He is also the recipient of the Teachers and Researchers Overseas Scholarship Award from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Pakistan.
