Muhammad Saqib Nazir

Assistant Professor
Summary

Dr. Saqib Nazir is an Assistant Professor and MS/PhD Coordinator at the Department of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (SMME), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan. His research interests include artificial intelligence, control systems, safety, cybersecurity, energy, sustainability, hybrid electric vehicles, transportation, smart grid energy management, and electrical engineering. Proficiency in PLCs, SCADA systems, HMIs, sensors, and actuators defines his technical arsenal, positioning him as a dedicated contributor to the evolving field. He is the only Pakistani who was funded by United States Department of Homeland Security to participate in CERT Industrial Control System Cybersecurity Training at the Idaho National Lab (USA). He is also a member of Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). JST invites young talented people from other countries and regions to Japan through Sakura Science Exchange Program in a collaboration of industry-academia-government, to introduce and offer experience in Japanese science and technology. Feel free to contact him for more information.
