Dr. Tariq has been long term data scientist associated with a number of US and Pakistan based digital health delivery contractors and global experts. He led the design, development and deployment of more than 36 public healthcare information systems for Pakistan and the region and trained more than 17,000 individuals on use of information with his diverse team. Dr. Tariq is the Adjunct Faculty at SMEE, NUST, he developed a course on Applied Artificial Intelligence for Public Healthcare" and is teaching at Department of BMES from September 2024. Dr Tariq is a digital health interoperability, health policy and supply chain system strengthening practitioner. Social justice, health equity and science of implementation are his passions, he has been associated with the Center for AIDS Research (CFAR), Family Health International (FHI), Population Services International (PSI), John Snow (JSI) and Daniel J. Evans School of Public Affairs. Tariq earned Master of Public Health degree from the University of Washington, Seattle with a concentration in Global Health. The students get access to live data and data-systems of the public sector, these systems host supply chain and vaccine data for more than 15 years for the entire Pakistan and can be exemplified to other regional countries. The teaching adjunct faculty from the industry actually helped developed these data systems for Pakistan.
