A Roundtable Conference on “Advanced Engineering and Technology Solutions” was organized in collaboration between the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering and the NUST Innovation and Commercialization office on Thursday, 7th Aug 2025. The session was chaired by Principal SMME Dr. Javaid Iqbal and CEO Attock Refinery Limited Mr. Muhammad Adil Khattak. The session was attended by seventeen senior officials from the mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing, AI, and healthcare industries, along with the senior faculty from the hosting school. The session focused on addressing sector-specific challenges, identifying potential for collaborative R&D, facilitating faculty placements and student internships, and proposing policy recommendations and commercialization pathways. The session highlights NUST’s and SMME’s commitment to producing market-ready graduates.
