We are thrilled to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and Saudi Electric Services Polytechnic (SESP), marking a significant step forward in fostering cooperation across various engineering fields, including Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Renewable Energy, Data Science, and more.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Osman Hassan, Pro-Rector Academics at NUST, and Ebtihal Alhashim, Deputy Managing Director of SESP. The NUST delegation, led by Dr. Osman Hassan, was joined by Dr. Kunwar Faraz, Head of Robotics & AI, and Dr. Shahbaz Khan, Assistant Professor of Robotics & AI. During their visit to SESP’s facilities in Riyadh, the delegation was briefed on the extensive range of capabilities and resources available.
This partnership aims to develop joint training programs, facilitate faculty and student exchanges, and engage in collaborative research to address the evolving needs of the industry. By combining their expertise, both institutions are committed to advancing education and innovation across a wide range of engineering disciplines, with a strong focus on preparing a future-ready workforce.
The MoU was signed at the Smart Grid Conference SASG25, in the presence of Nasser Al Qahtani, Assistant Minister of Energy.
Together, NUST and SESP are set to lead the way in shaping the future of engineering education, driving technological advancements, and building stronger ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
