Team Vitesse from SMME, NUST, proudly represented Pakistan and NUST at the Teknofest International UAV Competition. In 2024, they made history as the only team from NUST and Pakistan to reach and participate in the finals in Kahramanmaraş, Türkiye, advancing from an initial pool of 682 international teams to fewer than 40 finalists. Continuing their legacy, Team Vitesse once again reached and participated in the finals of Teknofest 2025, held in Kocaeli, Türkiye, progressing from 1,037 initial teams to the final 72. Their back-to-back achievements highlight their innovation, technical expertise, and determination to push the boundaries of UAV technology while raising Pakistan’s flag high on one of the world’s largest aerospace stages.
