The research group is dedicated to advancing the development of innovative biomaterials at the nanoscale to address critical challenges in healthcare, environmental sustainability, and energy systems. Our vision is to pioneer interdisciplinary approaches to create solutions that bridge the gap between nanotechnology and biomedical applications, with a focus on translational research for societal benefit.
    • Development of novel biomaterials, evaluation through in vivo models, and metabolic modeling to further optimize our solutions.
    • Exploring the interactions of living biological systems with advanced nanoscale materials systems using different in vitro and in vivo models.
    • Integrating nanotechnology and microfluidics, the research focuses on point-of-care diagnostic devices for early disease detection, monitoring chronic conditions, and personalized medicine.
