Session With Nouman Ali Khan Event Write Up
-Founder of Bayyinah Institute; Writer of Book ‘Divine Speech’ & an Arabic instructor; Pakistani – American Islamic speaker; Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan was our honorable guest who blessed us with his visit on 10th of October 2022 at Jinnah Auditorium, CIPS.
Ustadh’s focus was on reconnecting the youth to the Quran. He drew our attention towards our own character building and showing gratitude instead of comparing ourselves with others. He emphasized on things that are really important in our life and showed us the importance of path of light. He also cleared all the queries, confusions and misconceptions of the students as well as the faculty.
The event started at 1pm with national anthem and recitation from Holy Quran. From 1:30 to 2:30, Ustadh gave his speech and then afterwards he proceeded with the question-and-answer session. With his experience and knowledge in the field, he tried to clear confusions and misconceptions as much as he could in the limited given time. Finally, the event came to an end with souvenir gifted to our honorable guest by the worthy pro-rector and with a group photo of the council with Ustadh. It was overall a very informative session with an overwhelming response from both students and the faculty.
