USA

1- George Mason University (Mech)

The purpose of this agreement is to facilitate an opportunity for scholars from NUST to obtain a doctoral degree at Mason. The purpose of this MoU is to stimulate and support educational activities and projects between NUST and George Mason University. Both the parties agreed to explore the possibility of collaborative endeavors in the relevant areas

2- DICE Foundation Inc. (Mech)

To establish DICE-Automotive Platform at SMME-NUST for Automotive related innovations and collaboration among academia, industry, government entrepreneurs and expatriate community

3- Howard University, Washington DC (Mech)

The Purpose of this MoU is to record the understanding and commitment of the two parties to jointly pursue teaching, research and educational activities including faculty and student exchange that provide mutual benefit.

4- The Ciena Group, Michigan (Mech)

NUST DICE Automotive Innovation Centre and Mr. Ashraf Qazi CEO (Ciena Group)

Japan

1- Sakura Wheelchair Project (R&AI)

To provide/collaborate framework to SAKURA and NUST to cooperate and coordinate with each otherPurpose: Researchers from leading Japanese Wheelchair Industries and associated Japanese Universities will join hands with researchers of the Robotics and Intelligent Systems Engineering (RISE) lab (NUST-SMME) to introduce active wheelchairs technology in Pakistan. The researchers will also collaborate on research projects for development of state of the art technologies to further research into Autonomous and Semi-Autonomous Active Wheelchairs.

France

1- EPF Ecloe d’ingenieurs (Sceaux) (BMES)

Both institutions will exchange information on undergraduate, graduate research and professional programs and explore opportunities for mobility of students.

New Zealand

1- Massey University (Mech)

Collaboration in following areas:- Collaborative Research, Teaching activities, Professional Development of Partner Staff mainly by PhD. Collaborative applications for third party funding Government Scholarship Program, Exchanges of existing staff Participation in seminars and academic meetings. Exchanges of publications academic materials and other information. Other collaborative activities by mutual agreement in writing.

South Korea

1- KAIST (Mech)

This MoU promotes co-operation between the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology Korea and NUST

Chung-Ang University (Mech)

To enhance relations between the two universities and to support academic and cultural exchange in the areas of education, research and other activities

China

1- Beijing Institute of Technology (Mech)

This agreement establishes a general partnership between the institutions to facilitate collaborations in one or more of the following academic activities: teaching, research, students, exchange including students supported by the Chinese Scholarship Council.

2- Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) (Mech)

The purpose of this MoU is to faculty level collaborative research, status of Co-advisors of External advisors for off-campus MS and PhD research supervision.

3- Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (R&AI)

Collaboration in support, promote and expand cooperation in various activities regarding teaching/training and research & development in the fields of mutual interests. Purpose: Placement of NUST faculty at BUAA for studies leading to the award of MS and PhD degree and Chinese language courses. Short training courses. Exchange Professor and Experts, Establishment of scientific and technical cooperation. Organization of bilateral scientific and technical seminars, conferences workshops and courses.

Belarus

1- Belarusian State Technological University (R&AI)

The subject of this agreement is innovative, research and academic cooperation, i.e. implementation of joint research and development programs including mutual exchange of leading professors, scholars, doctorates, PhD students.

2- Belarusian State University of informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR) (R&AI)

Collaboration in following areas: To Encourage exchange of academic, research and administrative staff for experience exchange. To facilitate exchange of PhD, Master and UG students to develop academic mobility. Scientific cooperation, joint research, and consultancy

Thailand

1- Asian Institute of Technology Thailand (Mech)

To Promote and develop co-operation in the field of education in the region by contributing to human resource development and adhering to the principles of equality and mutual benefit.
